AN ACTIVE SENIOR LIFE,
A HOMELY FAMILY ATMOSPHERE
AND PROFESSIONAL CARE
A lively and diverse community life awaits residents right outside the door to their room – culturally, socially and gastronomically.
A programme of the highest quality will offer a beautiful garden, café and lounge, regular organised activities and group excursions and trips. And that’s not all! We are also preparing open courses for people from the surrounding area: exercises for seniors, memory training, pottery workshops and much more, giving seniors the opportunity to get to know our facility and its inhabitants. It is also a welcome opportunity for residents to stay in touch with everyday life and make new friends.
A PART OF THE GROUP
We are creating an active programme for residents
so that, except for when they need to rest, they will not spend time closed off in their room. Residents will have the opportunity to spend time inside and outside the grounds of the home, both individually or during organised activities.
Workshops, art programmes and manual handiwork
maintain dexterity, exercise coordination and mobility, stimulate the senses, train the memory and, simply put, keep you vital and happy. Staying creative means staying mentally fit.
Cooking together, singing or attending lectures?
We provide a wide range of activities both within the residence and in the park. Participating in a group activity, such as amateur theatre, strengthens a sense of belonging and forms greater social ties, helping to break the ice among new residents.
Organised group exercise or individual sports?
In order to maintain mobility and good fitness levels for as long as possible, we offer instructed group exercises aimed at keeping our residents in shape and aiding their convalescence. There is also the possibility of individual exercise on our outdoor sports grounds, as well as walks and electric bike rentals. Movement is quite simply an essential part of a fun-filled day.
In addition to regular year-round events, residents
will also be able to enjoy seasonal attractions at Easter, Advent and Christmas, as well as carnivals, harvest festivals and seasonal fruit festivities. Whether within the residence or on organised trips.
Being a part of society and not just of a closed-off group
is one of our aims. To that end, we are organising courses that are also open to the public. This will attract even more people to the home and allows residents to make new acquaintances. We are creating a residence where even our residents’ guests will feel right at home. Such as their grandchildren.
